Nine students in three Catholic elementary schools to receive Imre Takács Foundation Scholarships
The Imre Takács Foundation Scholarship program is one of a number of financial aid programs available to students in local Catholic schools through parishes, foundations and private organizations.
The foundation was established in 2004 by the Takács family to honor the memory of their father, Imre Takács, a Hungarian immigrant and strong supporter of Catholic education.
Foundation committee members chose nine students in three Catholic elementary schools for the 2010-2011 scholarships; each scholarship provides $1,000 to be used toward tuition.
