Now is not the time to slack off, or cut back. That is the challenge we all face when times get tough.
An article on Page 2 shows that even previous donors to food pantries and care centers in the St. Louis area are now seeking assistance themselves. The facts should not frighten us, but challenge us. Charity for the true disciple is never optional.
Everyone is aware that these are tough times for many people. Job loss, work reductions, ballooning debt and many other issues have put previously contributing persons on the receiving end of others' generosity.
