Question:
Could you explain the differences between a religious superior’s stamp (imprimi potest), a censor’s stamp (nihil obstat) “nothing stands in the way” and a bishop’s stamp (imprimatur) “let it be printed,” and how this is important for Catholics to know when looking for proper tools for formation?
