Kenrick seminarian to be ordained transitional deacon for K. C., Kan.

Barry Clayton, a student at Kenrick-Glennon Seminary, will be ordained to the transitional diaconate for the Archdiocese of Kansas City, Kan., at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 22, at Holy Spirit Church in Overland Park, Kan. Archbishop Joseph Naumann will be the ordaining prelate.

Rev. Mr. Clayton, 28, is the son of Mark Clayton and Christine Riscoe of Mission, Kan. His home parish is St. Pius X in Mission. He earned a bachelor's degree from Conception Seminary College in Conception, Mo. He served his supervised ministry at St. Joseph Parish in Josephville.
