Oakville parishioners slug it out to assist with hurricane recovery

The St. Louis Sluggers are at it again. The group of Queen of All Saints parishioners and their friends just returned from their ninth Katrina Rebuild trip to the Gulf Coast, helping local homeowners return to their houses.

Jerry Mueller, a retired graphic artist, is a member of the Oakville parish who has been going to the Gulf Coast since February 2006. He said the Sluggers have been working since then with several faith-based organizations "in the continuing effort to recover from Hurricane Katrina."
