'Tin Man' recycles scrap metal to send kids to camp

It started as a way to pocket some extra cash, but now one man's mission to recycle old scrap metal is helping send his son's class to camp and help better the environment at the same time. His endeavors have earned him a new nickname, too.

Dave the "Tin Man" Behlmann, a member of St. Ferdinand Parish in Florissant, started collecting scraps of tin, aluminum, copper and other metals months ago after he and friend Emmett Young were talking about how much money could be made.
