St. Cecilia student’s persistence in seeking to start a hockey team brings big results

St. Louis Blues forward Brad Boyes came in toward the goal, deked left and fired a big shot.
Denied by 6-year-old Manny Nava, who used his goalie stick to poke the shot away. The little guy's move against the star with 133 goals in five NHL seasons brought thunderous applause and encouragement from students at St. Cecilia School in South St. Louis.
