Project Rachel, the Church's ministry to women who have experienced an abortion, will hold its annual women's retreat on Saturday, May 8.

The retreat is directed by the Sisters of the Society Devoted to the Sacred Heart. It will begin at 9 a.m. and conclude at 6 p.m.

Participants will focus on several of the first steps in starting their healing journey with their child, themselves and God. They will learn how to describe and acknowledge their individual loss and the impact it has made. They also will learn how to accept that loss and begin the healing process.
