Visitation Academy freshman Katie Upton worked with a student at Loyola Academy during a recent all-school day of service. Nearly 600 Visitation Academy students from kindergarten through 12th grade traveled to sites across the metropolitan area to do service work, including tutoring other students, spending time with nursing home residents, hospital patients and sheltered workshop employees. The service day was part of Visitation’s “400 Acts of Kindness” theme for the school year, which is celebrating the 400th anniversary of the Visitation Sisters.
