More than 145 people from about eight parishes are volunteering at a new St. Vincent de Paul thrift store, 14660 Manchester Road in Ballwin.
Zip Rzeppa, executive director of the Society, said some volunteers are assisting just a few hours a month while others help out on a weekly basis or more. The volunteer help is especially helpful in running a store "in these difficulty economic times," he said.
