Question:
On Palm Sunday during the reading of the Passion, my parish did something that I have never heard of before. At numerous times throughout the reading, they stopped to sing various hymns. I couldn’t help but think that this distracted from the solemnity of this most touching and important of biblical readings. Is this an allowed practice?
