Senior Living | 73-year-old goes for a walk -- for 16 months
Submitted on March 24, 2010
Lent is a time of self-sacrifice. It is introspective. A spiritual journey.
All are perfect words to describe "Walk2gether," an 8,000-mile walk, from Guatemala to Chile led by Bob Hentzen, president of Christian Foundation for Children and Aging (CFCA).
Walk2gether began Dec. 29, 2009, where Hentzen finished his previous walk in 1996 -- a 4,000-mile trek from Kansas City, Kan., to San Lucas Toliman, Guatemala.
