Incarnate Word, DeSmet win state titles; other Catholic high schools also do well

Incarnate Word Academy won its third state basketball title and DeSmet won its 14th state title in hockey.
Cardinal Ritter College Preparatory High School's girls and boys basketball teams were to play in the Class 3 state finals starting March 18. Several other Catholic schools also had good showings in the winter sports season.
