Thank you for including guest columnist Jason Thompson in the Viewpoints section (Feb. 26). I am proud to know Jason and have known him since he was a young teenager. It was good to see a young, African-American, Catholic male contribute to the St. Louis Review. Many times young, African-American males are shown in a negative way in the news. There are many young people who are doing the right thing and we should put them in the forefront also.
