Jesus' healing mission reaches its climax in the events of the Paschal Mystery -- His passion, death and resurrection. That's why the season of Lent, the time when we prepare for the joy of Easter, is an appropriate time to reflect on the Lord's healing ministry. Every healing that Jesus accomplished during His earthly life was fundamentally oriented toward His final and definitive victory over sin and death.
