Archbishop Carlson approves salary increases for elementary, secondary school teachers
Archbishop Robert J. Carlson has approved the salary recommendations for teachers for the 2010-2011 school year.
The archbishop approved a recommendation from the archdiocesan Board of Catholic Education for a 3 percent salary increase for teachers at parish elementary schools for the next school year. That recommendation had originated in the Parish Teacher Committee, the organization of teachers, pastors and parish representatives that deal with parish elementary teacher compensation and benefits.
