Mostaccioli brings St. Ambrose student closer to Australia trip

Austin Danback spoke to Katrina Neal and her daughter, Arielle, at a fundraiser at St. Ambrose Parish on the Hill in South St Louis. Austin is preparing to travel to Australia for People to People International’s Student Ambasssador Program. The parish held a mostaccioli dinner to help raise money to pay for the trip. Neal, a police officer, works with Austin’s mother, also a police officer.

St. Ambrose student peddles pasta to pay for ambassadorship

At a mostaccioli dinner at St. Ambrose Parish in the Hill neighborhood of South St. Louis Feb. 27, 12-year-old Austin Danback was the perfect ambassador, chatting with arriving guests young and old and ushering them to a table.

It was good practice for Austin, who, thanks to the generosity of those who attended the dinner and auction that evening, will travel to Australia this summer to participate in People to People International's Student Ambassador Program.
