Christian Marriage | Materials are available to help to couples in planning a wedding
Material from Liturgy Training Publications designed to help engaged couples plan a wedding liturgy is available through the archdiocesan Office of Worship.
The booklets follow Catholic Church guidelines that the wedding liturgy be "valid, worthy, fruitful, simple and dignified.''
The liturgy is intended to involve the Christian community, with the full, active and responsible participation of all those present. The norm for a wedding should be the norm for Sunday Mass, and those in the congregation should never be reduced to an audience.
