Students continue fundraising efforts to help victims of Haiti earthquake

Audrey Estep, Maria Hellebusch, Audrey Holdmeier, Katie Rushing and Sakura Shortal, all first-graders at St. Francis Borgia School in Washington, raised $657 for Haitian earthquake relief through a joint birthday party with class members. They asked each guest to donate the amount that would have been spend on birthday gifts.

Efforts to raise funds for Haiti continue

Help for Haiti has been pouring in from Catholic schools all around the archdiocese in response to the devastating Jan. 12 earthquake that killed an estimated 200,000 people and left as many as a million people homeless.
