'Man of the House' | Being a dedicated 'daddy' and now 'pops' is my choice; I love it
People fill many roles in life. Some come by choice in the work they do or the spouse they marry or a variety of other situations. We are friends and neighbors, writers and priests, teachers and politicians, husbands and wives.
I chose to marry my wife, Donna, 25 years ago this month. And we agreed to God blessing us with four children. But our choices don't always help to define us. For instance, you probably have heard it said that any man can be a father, but it takes someone special to choose to be a daddy. I hope my kids have considered me a daddy.
