Efforts continue throughout the archdioces to raise funds for Haiti

‘Haiti house’ pins and magnets made during lunchtime by students at St. Francis Borgia School in Washington helped raise some $1,000 for Catholic Relief Services. The houses are a reminder of those who don’t have a home. Students at the school also raise funds for a pregnancy assistance center, children with cancer, students in other schools, homeless shelters, a food pantry, those in the military and more.

Efforts continue throughout the archdiocese to raise funds for programs assisting earthquake victims in Haiti.

A concert will be held at 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, at The Pageant, 6161 Delmar Blvd. in the West End of St. Louis. The concert features The Domani International, Thom Donovan, The Upright Animals and Whisperwall.

Tickets are $10 at the door. Autographed items from the St. Louis Blues will be part of a raffle, and Gus' Pretzels will be sold to raise additional funds.
