Prayer for Peace
The Messengers of Peace follow a prayer for peace taken from the Prayer of St. Francis of Assisi, the 13th-century Italian saint who dedicated himself to a life of poverty and promoter of peace in the world.
Lord Jesus Christ, make us an instrument of your peace; where there is hatred, let us sow love; where there is offense, pardon; where there is conflict, that we may build peace.
