Vincentians celebrate the beginning of their new Western Province
Nearly 170 Vincentian priests and brothers gathered Jan. 24 to celebrate the birth of their new Western Province.
Three of the five U.S. Vincentian provinces are merging into one province. The new Western Province will include the current Midwest Province based in St. Louis, the Southern Province based in Dallas and the Province of the West based in Los Angeles.
The superior general, Father Gregory Gay, erected the new Western Province of the Congregation of the Mission and installed the new provincial superior, Father Perry Henry, at a Mass Jan. 24 in San Antonio.
