Send to friendA funeral Mass was celebrated Jan. 21 at Our Lady of the Rosary Chapel at the Dominican Convent in Sparkill, N.Y., for Sister Margaret Ellen Kavanaugh, who was a teacher and served in pastoral ministry in the archdiocese, including at the former St. Thomas More Parish in North County for nearly two decades.
Sister Margaret Ellen, 95, died Jan. 17 in Siena Hall Infirmary at the Dominican Convent in Sparkill.
