MySci program helps local schools enhance science education
Six Catholic schools are among 53 schools being visited this year by MySci, a collaborative program to promote interest for science in children and their teachers.
MySci, which is in its fifth year of service, provides kindergarten through second grade teachers with science curriculum books and classroom kits on the topics of plants, animals and the Earth, and then later visits the schools with an Investigation Station, a roving vehicle of innovative exhibits and specimens, to give students an interactive learning experience.
