Ascension School in Chesterfield opens $38,000 technology room

Students at Ascension School in Chesterfield got an early Christmas present this year, when the school recently opened a new technology lab.

Late last month, the school held a ribbon cutting and blessing of the Smith Technology Room, which features a Promethean interactive whiteboard and 30 new Dell computers. The project cost about $38,000, and most of the funding was raised through a trivia night held at the parish earlier this summer. The effort was coordinated by a technology committee made up of school parents.
