St. Hubert of Liege, Patron Saint of Hunters

Send to friendSt. Hubert was born about 656; he died at Fura (the modern Tervueren), Brabant, May 30, 727 or 728. He was the first bishop of Liège, and Apostle of the Ardennes.
He was honored in the Middle Ages as the patron of hunters.
