Deacon Glennon L. Bourbon; served at 3 parishes since '95
A funeral Mass was celebrated Oct. 23 at All Saints Church in University City for Deacon Glennon L. Bourbon Sr., who served at three parishes in the archdiocese following his ordination in 1995. He died Oct. 19.
Deacon Bourbon, 75, was born in Mitchell, Ill. He married the former Mary Ann Gagen in 1962.
Deacon Bourbon was ordained to the diaconate on June 10, 1995. He served at three parishes: Incarnate Word in Chesterfield, St. Jude in Overland and All Saints in University City. He retired from active ministry in 2002, but he continued to serve All Saints Parish intermittently after his retirement as his health permitted.
Deacon Bourbon served four years in the U.S. Navy. He was employed by Eastern Air Lines for 22 years.
