World record attempt to raise money for Cardinal Glennon Medical Center
Players will attempt to set a record by playing a 48-hour baseball game this weekend to raise money for SSM Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center.
Players in the game at T.R. Hughes Ballpark in O’Fallon will wear the uniforms of the 1944 St. Louis Cardinals and St. Louis Browns, teams that played in the only all-St. Louis “Streetcar” World Series.
Events Friday-Sunday, Oct. 9-11, also include boys’ baseball and girls’ softball tournaments, a baseball movie, an autograph and memorabilia show and silent auctions.
