Leaders prepared to support seminary campaign

Third reception held last week at Kenrick-Glennon for parish volunteers
Toni Pagano believes it’s important that “we are planting the seeds (with) our young seminarians ... For they will grow into our parishes.”
That’s why Pagano, a member of Our Lady of the Pillar Parish in Creve Coeur, and her husband, Chris, wanted to get involved in the Faith for the Future seminary campaign.
The Paganos and their pastor, Marianist Father James Tobin, were among nearly 300 parish volunteers and priests who attended the third, and last, prayer service and reception for campaign leaders Sept. 24 at Kenrick-Glennon Seminary in Shrewsbury. That evening, volunteers had the chance to meet with Archbishop Robert J. Carlson and seminary leaders.
The Faith for the Future campaign, which kicked off earlier this summer, has a goal of $50 million, which will be used to upgrade facilities at the seminary and increase the seminary endowment.
