Meeting the needs
Cardinal Ritter Senior Services is serving a range of senior adults with programs that help them improve their quality of their lives.
Services vary from providing seniors volunteer opportunities to helping those who are frail maintain as much independence as possible to offering a dignified, compassionate place to live for those in the last stages of life.
The largest agency in the Catholic Charities federation in the archdiocese, Cardinal Ritter provides what it calls “a continuum of quality care and services for all the seasons of your senior life no matter your level of care or financial position.”
Sister Suzanne Wesley, CSJ, chief executive officer of Cardinal Ritter, recently discussed challenges facing the agency founded in 1965 as well as the rewards of serving the needs of a growing senior adult population.
