Most Sacred Heart is Blue Ribbon School

Eureka parish school one of 50 private schools recognized

Most Sacred Heart School in Eureka has been designated a 2009 No Child Left Behind — Blue Ribbon School.

It is one of 50 private schools nationwide and two private schools in Missouri recognized by U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan as a Blue Ribbon School. Since 1983, Catholic schools in the St. Louis Archdiocese has been designated Blue Ribbon Schools 16 times.

George Henry, archdiocesan superintendent of Catholic education, said,  “Most Sacred Heart School is an example of the standard of excellence as measured by the Blue Ribbon Schools award. It is one of many ways our schools demonstrate excellence, and we celebrate their Good News!”
