Oct. 3 Mass and dinner planned to help fund apostolate’s continued pro-life billboards
Our Lady of Guadalupe for Life is hosting its first benefit dinner next month.
It will take place Saturday, Oct. 3, at the Cardinal Rigali Center in Shrewsbury. Proceeds will help keep up the apostolate’s billboards that are placed throughout the St. Louis area and beyond.
The evening will begin with Mass in the St. Vincent de Paul Chapel at 4:30 p.m. Father Noah Waldman will be the celebrant. The dinner will follow in the Fleur de Lis Room. Hector Molina, a national Catholic evangelist, will be the keynote speaker at the dinner.
Founded seven years ago, Our Lady of Guadalupe for Life is a local, Catholic nonprofit organization that has erected seven billboards featuring Our Lady and the message, “Love your babies ... born and unborn.”
They are mainly located along several highways. A new billboard was just erected this summer in South St. Louis, near a Planned Parenthood facility.
