Catholic schools have strong supporter in Archbishop Robert Carlson
The newly installed archbishop of St. Louis praised Catholic education here and called on the local Church to come together to solve the issues facing it.
Calling Catholic education in the St. Louis Archdiocese “a tremendous gift,” Archbishop Robert Carlson said, “The Catholic schools here have a great history. It is the seventh-largest Catholic school system in the United States.
“And it is one of the reasons why the St. Louis Archdiocese and the people here are known for their great faith.”
