‘Humanae Vitae’ Mass set July 25
The annual Humanae Vitae Mass and Celebration sponsored by the archdiocesan Office of Natural Family Planning will be held Saturday, July 25.
Auxiliary Bishop Robert Hermann will celebrate Mass at 5 p.m. at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis, Lindell Boulevard and Newstead Avenue in the Central West End. The Mass marks the anniversary of Pope Paul VI’s encyclical, “Humanae Vitae,” which reaffirmed the Church’s teaching on artificial contraception.
A dinner reception will follow at Boland Hall. Cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 3-10. The maximum family charge is $45.
