Seven archdiocesan parishes have already raised almost $2.5 million in pledges for Faith for the Future, the capital campaign for Kenrick-Glennon Seminary.

The parishes were part of a pilot campaign held in the fall of 2008 that combined individual parish needs with the needs of the seminary into one initiative.

The parishes are St. John in Imperial; St. Gianna in Lake St. Louis; St. George in Gardenville; St. Raphael the Archangel in St. Louis Hills; St. Mark and St. Dominic Savio, both in Affton; and Annunziata in Ladue.

Together the parishes raised more than $10 million in pledges, leaving more than $7.5 million for their parish capital campaigns after designating the pledges made to the pilot campaign for the seminary.

Almost all the parishes exceeded their capital campaign goals.
