Funeral Masses were celebrated in St. Louis and Sparkill, N.Y., for Dominican Sister Mary Ann Robertson, who taught in St. Louis and New York and was a home-care worker in St. Louis.

Sister Mary Ann, 68, died June 1 at Nazareth Living Center in South County.

The St. Louis native entered the Dominican Congregation of Our Lady of the Rosary in Sparkill, N.Y. in 1958 and became known as Sister Helen Patrice, professing her first vows in 1960 and her final vows in 1965.

Sister Mary Ann earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from St. Thomas Aquinas College in Sparkill in 1963 and an master’s degree in religious studies from the St. Louis University in 1976.
