Ahle, who was principal at St. Kevin at the time, also credited teacher Mary Morris, who now works part time at Holy Trinity, with the idea.
Morris “has a real love for pro-life issues,” said Ahle.
“The first year, they put out six chairs and had a special eighth-grade shirt laid out on each,” Ahle explained. “And they said a prayer for those students who could have been there, if not for abortions.”
