Ecumenical, interreligious community has strong presence at Archbishop Carlson's ceremonies

A sizeable contingent from the ecumenical and interreligious community was present at the Evening Prayer service and installation Mass this week for Archbishop Robert Carlson. 

Lawrence J. Welch, director of the archdiocesan Office of Ecumenical and Interreligious Affairs and member of the archdiocesan installation planning committee, said that more than two dozen leaders from various Christian and other religious communities were invited to attend the installation Mass June 10.
