Sheltered workshop has enjoyed strong relationship with Knights

Jerry Hart’s face lights up when the Knights of Columbus is mentioned.

That’s because Hart, a marketing representative for Valley Industries, is thinking of the longtime relationship his organization has maintained with the Catholic fraternal organization.

Based in Hazelwood, Valley Industries is a nonprofit sheltered workshop that hires people with developmental disabilities.

Employees at Valley Industries recently were put to the task of packaging materials for the Knights’ Savers of Life program, which launched this month.
