The archdiocesan Respect Life Apostolate offers numerous opportunities for young people to become more educated about pro-life issues.

The primary goal of the apostolate’s educational programs is to develop attitudes that respect life. Programs include accurate information on all life issues, responsibility toward human life and respect and sensitivity toward human sexuality and reproduction.

The following are some of the programs offered through the apostolate:

LIFT (Life Information From Teens) — Open to high school teens, LIFT develops and performs a skit with a pro-life theme to schools and other groups throughout the archdiocese.

The group, which is led by Shelly Fravala, program coordinator for the apostolate, meets twice a month. Meetings include speakers who come to educate teens on life issues and time for peer discussion.
