That Man Is You! program helps Catholic men be best husbands and fathers possible
A program recently introduced in the Archdiocese of St. Louis is helping Catholic men to be the best husbands and fathers they can be.
That Man Is You! is a 26-week leadership program for men that combines Church and biblical teachings and applications from modern social science to help men become more engaged in their faith and with their families.
Last fall, a group of men at Holy Infant Parish in Ballwin brought the program to the parish after searching for something to keep the “spiritual fires lit” after attending the 2008 archdiocesan Catholic Men for Christ Conference, according to co-coordinator Rick Effer.
“A group of Holy Infant men asked the question, ‘OK, what’s next?’ We all realized we needed something more,” said Effer.
