Printer-friendly versionPrinter-friendly versionSend to friendSend to friendThe 40 Days for Life campaign to end abortion is nearly at the halfway point, and local organizers have said the effort so far has been a success. "God has really been providing for us," said Dianne Adam, prayer coordinator for the St. Louis campaign. A mid-campaign rally will be held from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, March 18, at DuBourg Hall, 221 N. Grand Blvd. on the campus of St. Louis University in Midtown. David Bereit, national director of 40 Days for Life, and Mary Maschmeier, founder of the Defenders of the Unborn here in St. Louis, will speak at the event. "This is to re-energize and renew our weary troops, to give them a little excitement and to push on for the remainder of the vigil," said Adam.
