REV. MSGR. JOSEPH W. BAKER, pastor of St. Hedwig Parish, St. Louis, and judicial vicar of the Tribunal of Second Instance of the Province of St. Louis, has resigned both offices and been granted the status of retirement, with private residence, effective July 1, 2005. Msgr. Baker continues in the office of judge at the Tribunal of Second Instance of the Province of St. Louis.
REV. JOSEPH W. BANDEN, pastor of Transfiguration Parish, Florissant, is named senior associate pastor of St. Paul Parish, Fenton, effective July 5, 2005.
REV. ROBERT L. BANKEN, pastor of St. Sebastian Parish, North St. Louis County, is named chaplain for health care centers in the Northeast County Deanery, with residence at Our Lady of the Rosary Rectory, Spanish Lake, effective July 5, 2005.
VERY REV. JEROME D. BILLING, pastor of the Basilica of St. Louis King of France, chancellor, and defender of the bond and promoter of justice at the Metropolitan Tribunal, is released from the Office of Defender of the Bond at the Metropolitan Tribunal, effective July 5, 2005.
REV. GERALD J. BLESSING, newly ordained, is assigned associate pastor of St. Alban Roe Parish, Wildwood, effective June 28, 2005.
REV. JOHN F. BLOMBERG, pastor of St. Aloysius Gonzaga Parish, St. Louis, is named senior associate pastor of Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Parish, Ferguson, effective July 5, 2005.
REV. MSGR. FRANCIS X. BLOOD, pastor of St. Cecilia Parish, St. Louis, and director of the Office of the Society for the Propagation of the Faith, has resigned the office of pastor of St. Cecilia Parish and been assigned residence at Our Lady of Providence Rectory, Crestwood, effective July 5, 2005.
REV. JOHN J. BORCIC, pastor of St. Vincent Parish, Dutzow, is named director of the Office of Catholic Youth Ministry and director of spiritual formation in the Office of the Permanent Diaconate, with residence at St. Roch Rectory, St. Louis, effective July 5, 2005. Father Borcic remains the confessor for the Passionist Monastery at Ellisville.
REV. JOHN A. BROCKLAND, pastor of St. Bartholomew Parish, Hazelwood, and judge at the Metropolitan Tribunal, has resigned his pastorate and the office of judge, and is assigned the Office of Defender of the Bond at the Metropolitan Tribunal, with residence at Mary Queen of Peace Rectory at Webster Groves, effective July 5, 2005.
REV. KENNETH A. BROWN, pastor of Little Flower Parish, Richmond Heights, is named principal of Duchesne High School, St. Charles, with residence at St. Charles Borromeo Rectory, St. Charles, effective July 5, 2005.
