In honor of Irish immigrants

Archbishop Justin Rigali has approved plans to erect a Celtic high cross at St. John the Apostle and Evangelist Parish in Downtown St. Louis. The cross is to be a monument to the Irish immigrants to St. Louis who did so much to help build the city, said Joe McGlynn, a guiding force behind the project.
